Ms. Halsted received her undergraduate degree from Goucher
College and did her graduate studies at the Maryland Institute
College of Art. She has been a professional member of the
American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) since 1980
and has served as an officer for that organization. Ms.
Halsted began her professional interior design career in
the Washington, DC area doing such diverse projects as
villas and palaces in the Middle East, vacation homes and
yachts, country clubs, hotels and restaurants. Summering
on Nantucket since the mid 1960s, she has been living and
working on the island since 1994.
Bunny Whiteley,
Associate
Ms. Whiteley received her undergraduate degree from Barnard
College and did her graduate studies at the New York
School of Interior Design. She began her professional
interior design career in New York City working exclusively
on co-operative apartment projects ranging from structural
renovations, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen redesigns
to interior refurbishing. Ms. Whiteley has been a summer
resident on Nantucket since 1982 and became a year round
resident in 2006.
